The lamp is in excellent working condition as it has been rewired with modern electrical and accommodates up to 250v. The lamp is in great vintage condition and upon close inspection shows minimal signs of age, it is on a wood mahogany type base. The shade is a sturdy black rectangle empire shape with gold lining for a beautiful glow, it has a small are of black to one side appearing slightly darker tones as shown. The finial is a very heavy solid brass with rich patina (two handed install recommended so as to not drop and break the ceramic below!) The lamp measures 30” total height, 22” base to socket, 8” at widest point, shade measurements are; 9.25” - 7.5” x 12.5” x 12.25” x 16.5”.
