Tribal hardwood hand carved wood chest has a blend of symbolic tribal masks as well as scenes from nature with turtles snakes and pelicans. Very detailed banding sets off the hand carved symbols. Excellent construction with hinged lid this trunk functions as both storage solution and decorative piece of African folk art. Large chest measures 38 1/2 inches L x 18 1/2 inch D x 25 inches H. Imperfection consistent with age with deep scratch on lid that looks like it was repaired and scratch on inside of lid see photos. See less
