Exceptionally charming 18th century Louis XV "commode" created by a provincial cabinet maker. Crafted from solid walnut with hand-carved details. Two commodious drawers with solid brass hardware and original locks (sans long lost key). Double plank top. Ready to be shipped from the heart of the USA. NO import delays, fees, or added tariffs.
Measures 54.5" wide x 26" deep x 36" high.
In very good antique condition commensurate with over two centuries of use. With a beautiful color and finish.. Structurally sound with no issues of note. Evidence of a variety of very old repairs on the top and one rear leg. Some wood worm damage on back (treated long ago). See photos for details.
