Oushak rugs (also known as ushak or Uşak) are known as one of the finest Oriental rugs. The beautifully hand knotted antique rug was produced in the Anatolian Region of the Ottoman Empire (present day Turkey), circa 1920, rectangular in form, made out of silky, luminous wool, richly detailed and decorated in vibrant colors including a golden yellow central star medallion, surrounded by a deep cinnamon red ground with alternating bands of beige and turquoise to the border. Sure to be a stunning and sophisticated addition to any space!
