The beauty of 18th century French provincial furniture is the simplicity of its naivety sans unnecessary "citified" embellishment. Which is what makes this Louis XV Walnut writing or side table the epitome of elegance. Crafted from solid walnut with hand-carved details. Features include scalloped aprons on all four sides. "Dupont" lip edged top. Cabriole legs ending in modified square "hoof" feet. Single drawer with original lock hardware (sans long lost key). Ready to be shipped from the heart of the USA. NO import delays, fees, or added tariffs.
Measures 34.75" wide 25.75" deep x 29.5" high.
In very good antique condition with that beautiful color and finish which can only be achieved by centuries of use.. Variety of very old scratches, wood worm marks, and "dings" commensurate with 18th century antique age/use. Structurally sound with no issues of note. See photos for details.
