60’s mid century Danish modern walnut framed reclining lounge chair with matching ottoman by designer Kofod Larsen for Selig. This high back lounger has been done right and is in amazing ready for a new home condition. Beautifully reupholstered in a classic speckled black, grey, with a stay green threaded tweed. The grains shine from its well crafted frame with every angle and curve expressing the craftsmanship and attention to detail. The refinished frame connect at the corners with soft curves as the downward curving armrests connect to the 4 legs. At the front and back of each side, are attractive tapering joinery creating strength as well as art. With the push of the lever, the back lays back to create a very comfortable pitch as you put your feet up. The restored matching ottoman has just as much design put in its shape as the chair does, continuing the less is more approach. A upholstered pad allow your feet to rest comfortably allowing an awesome lounge pitch joining feet and legs. A stunning example of craftsmanship by well known Danish designer Kofod Larsen. Measures - Chair - 28” wide x 33” deep x 18” seat x 39” back height. Ottoman - 25”wide x 21” deep x 17” tall.
