Yellow … Read more City Nights captures the restless pulse of the urban evening, where rain-slick streets become mirrors for neon and headlights. Yellow cabs cut through the darkness, their glowing taillights fractured into shimmering reds and oranges across the wet pavement. Buildings loom in deep blues and shadows, softened by mist and punctuated by scattered windows of light, suggesting unseen lives within. The composition thrives on contrast; cool nocturnal tones interrupted by sudden bursts of color conveying both the anonymity and the allure of the city after dark. It is less a static scene than a fleeting impression, alive with motion, reflection, and atmosphere.

As the artist, I've always been interested in doing this type of painting as an experiment or challenge to myself. The darkness, neon, and reflections always intrigued me, visually. It's clear that there's an obvious theme in my work: painting things I find interesting and challenging. Whether I'm trying to "find myself" artistically, or just simply painting "stuff I like", I don't think I'll have a set subject of work. See less
