A dignified neoclassical table lamp featuring a terracotta sculpture of Hera, known to the Romans as Juno, the goddess of marriage and queen of the gods. The figure stands in the classical “pudicitia” pose, modestly grasping her drapery with one hand, and wears a veiled headdress and diadem—traditional iconography associated with this matronly deity. Likely modeled after Hellenistic or early Imperial Roman statuary, the piece evokes the elegance and symbolism of ancient temple sculpture, repurposed here in the manner of Grand Tour souvenirs or mid-20th-century neoclassical revival design.

The sculpture measures 22 inches high and stands on a black-painted octagonal wood base. It is presented as a table lamp with a parchment-style display shade (12” high x 16” diameter). The total height to the top of the shade is 36 inches. The warm terracotta surface shows light, scattered patina and minor wear consistent with age and conversion; structurally sound and handsomely proportioned.
