This antique chest from Italy has a rectangular-shaped top with burled veneer and a decorative banding inlay, which rests atop a case that houses three full-sized, dovetailed, recessed-panel drawers, each fitted with Rococo style pulls, flanking an escutcheon within their center. The skirt consists of stacked molding, and the chest has a slight raise up off the floor upon its shallow bun carved feet.
