This antique table from France features a half-circular/demi shaped marble top, which rests atop a rounded apron with a lovely bow-tie and pierce-carved rose garland swag which hangs just below the skirt at center front. Carved flower heads are framed within the apron, just above each of the four fluted cylindrical legs that taper down to squared ankles with carved flower heads (continuing the theme from the apron above) and terminating into peg style feet. The legs are braced at their ankles with a curved wood stretcher bar, which is adorned at the center with a neoclassical-inspired three dimensional petite urn. The wood has a grey/green finish with hints of greige, and cream accents. The original marble top, primarily grey, does have some staining to it (refer to additional images for more detail). This 19th century French Neoclassical marble-top console table, just over 3 feet in width, would be a great piece for a stairway landing or foyer. See less
