This antique cabinet from France has a rectangular-shaped top, which slightly overhangs the case, that houses a pair of smaller drawers set within the upper frieze, with a pair of recessed panel doors below. The drawers and doors are fitted with elaborate brass hardware. The overall look is clean with linear trim molding and skirt lines. The chest is presented upon bracket style carved feet. The wood has a newer custom finish in neutral beige, wheat and cream tones. This 19th century French wood console cabinet is a versatile size (just shy of 5.5 feet in length) offering great storage and display opportunities without taking up too much square footage. See less
