This Neoclassical period chest from France has a rectangular-shaped top with softly rounded front corners, above a case which houses a pair of drawers, and nicely scalloped skirting along the front and sides. It is raised upon four slender cabriole legs which taper towards their feet. The drawers are fitted with their original brass Rococo style hardware. There is a new custom painted finish in an earthy taupe/grey with highlighted trim accent.
