This antique table from Italy has a rectangular-shaped marble top, which rests above a rectangular apron adorned with nicely-carved trim details. The table is presented upon four squared and flute-carved legs, with feature accents carved about the upper and lower portions of each leg. The gilt finish is quite old but has been touched up. The dusty rose/merlot colored marble top is likely not original, but still very old -- please note that there have been prior repairs. The backside of the table is not finished, therefore best placement for this piece would be against a wall or sofa. This 18th century Italian gilt wood console with marble top is a great versatile size, as it is just shy of 3.5 feet in width, allowing for many placement opportunities throughout the home! See less
