Offered is a quaint set for 2 comprised of breakfast cups with matching saucers, as well as bread and butter plates, a total of 6 pieces.
Originally designed by Swedish designer Marianne Westman, this is a set of Rörstrand's cheerful indigo and white "Mon Amie" pattern.
From the Rörstrand website: "Mon Amie, launched in 1952, is a shining example of a true Rörstrand classic. The sketch of a simple flower, created on a rainy midsummer in the late 1940s by Marianne Westman, became a cobalt blue blooming and lasting piece of art in many households."
The cup measures 4.125" in diameter, 5.125" wide across to tip of handle, and has a flat round base that is 1.25" in diameter, and is 2.25" tall.
The saucer measures: 6.25" in diameter, 0.875" in height.
The bread and butter plate measures: 6.75" in diameter, 0.875" in height.

One of the two cups has visible factory-made brush marks or scratches on the bottom of the inner bowl, and the other cup has a hairline visible on the lower part of the handle, yet is not broken nor repaired.
