Offered is a rare 1960s enameled cast iron large skillet designed by Michael Lax for Copco. This piece is marked Denmark, which identifies it from their earliest original production. The condition of this piece is quite spiffy and they were built to last. Features their signature large button top lid, and spouts on either side for ease pouring your gourmet sauces or juices, and handles on both ends, the longer handle has a hole for hanging. The images are taken in natural daylight and quite true to color. We would call it a bright gloss navy blue with a matte cream interior. We grew up with the large pot in this color and still use it! This piece belongs in a home that is serious about cooking with cookware and a passion for mid 20th century Scandinavian design.
Measures 18.75" handle to handle, 12.75" spout to spout, 11.75" diameter, 2.5" tall, 5" tall with lid

There are 2 very small nicks on the inner lip of the lid, not visible, and 1 small one on the underside of the rim of the lid. The inner pan has no nicks, but there are minor utensil marks that could not be captured on camera, and very minor yellowing, also difficult to see in images. The base has been deep cleaned with bleach and baking soda, and shows signs of use. Please use wooden utensils to preserve the enamel, and we suggest hand washing any piece that has a cast iron base. Any wear is commensurate with use. less
