Art Nouveau Wine Cooler – Tinned Brass, circa 1900–1915
Elegant Art Nouveau wine cooler with a hammered surface and highly decorative, sculptural handles in flowing Jugendstil design. Made of brass with a tinned finish, giving it a subtle silvery appearance.
Condition: good antique condition with age-related wear, surface patina, and some losses to the tinning consistent with age and use (see photos). No maker’s mark. A fine decorative piece, suitable as a wine or champagne cooler, or as an eye-catching Art Nouveau interior accent.
