Jean-René Petibon (Ryxa) Untitled, 2020 Wall sculpture made of shipwreck wood Original colors Signed (with the nickname Ryxa) and dated on the back Good condition 35 X 37 X 4 cm Jean-René Petibon is a contemporary French sculptor who creates marine bestiary pieces from fragments of wood recovered from wrecks off the coast of Brittany or from wooden boatyards. Refusing to paint his materials, he highlights the original colors of the boats and finishes his works with a simple varnish. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
