The base is heavy and solid in cast iron and has a lovely fluted sectional shape. It also has the stamped makers mark ‘ n&b ltd made in england’ in red on the base.

dimensions: height: base: lens: origin: england circa: 1930s workshop report: the condition is good for its age – the black finish has faded in age and the chrome mounts, springs have surface discolouration – see photos – which give it a great aged patina and character. The magnifier moves freely in all positions.
