A fabulous art deco period table magnifier with the anglepoise build in the original black finish with chrome mounts and thick oblong lens. The base is heavy and solid in cast iron and has a lovely fluted sectional shape. It also has the stamped makers mark ‘ n&b ltd made in england’ in red on the base.
dimensions: height: base: lens: origin: england circa: 1930s workshop report: the condition is good for its age – the black finish has faded in age and the chrome mounts, springs have surface discolouration – see photos – which give it a great aged patina and character. The magnifier moves freely in all positions.
