The four side chairs (Model #79) and two Captain armchairs (model #64) are rare models to find. A stunning set of 6, sculptural dramatic curved backrest dining chairs with original handwoven natural paper cord seats. Chairs are stamped with the maker's name (J.L Møller).
This set showcases Møller’s renowned commitment to simplicity, elegance and craftsmanship. They remain in good vintage condition. These Moller chairs were constructed by J.L. Moller Cabinet Shop, one of the premium makers of the era. The rich solid teak frames are very sturdy and have exceptional stunning wood grain throughout the timber that was used in the very first years of production. Sculpted and formed details are very Modern and Elegant. The unique wood grain and colors of teak is what makes them so desired.

Condition: Chair frames are sturdy and comfortable. The paper cord is original and shows wonderfully with a subtle patina, small areas of fraying on the sides of the seats, overall tight and supportive,
light markings will still be evident upon close inspection as one would expect with any 60+ year old piece of furniture.
