Licio Zanetti Vintage Murano Blown Glass Whale Sculpture, Signed, Italian
Offered for sale is a vintage blown Murano glass sculpture of a whale by Licio Zanetti. The underside of sculpture is Signed "Zanetti L" which maches Zanetti's signature. Licio Zanetti, born in 1937 in Venice, Italy, has become a renowned figure in the world of Murano glass. He was taught by his father Oscar and then continued to create Murano Glass works of art until 1987 when Licio handed the leadership of his glass studio over to his own son, also named Oscar.
