A mid to late 18th century porcelain punch bowl. Hand painted overglaze in famille rose motif with floral garlands and a brown-wash rim indicative of the period.
Measures 8" in diameter and 3 3/4" in depth
Condition: Fine antique condition with thin hairline of about 2" on interior of bowl but, itherwise, no chips, cracks or frits. A blue-gray tint to the ground glaze, typical for the period as are the occasional instances of kiln grit which is typical of pre-1800 manufacturing.
