Coat rack made of open-pore yellow oak with a red lacquered edge, composed of three shaped elements measuring approximately 24 x 152 cm in height, which can be folded into various positions thanks to cylindrical hinges.
The coat rack can be configured in multiple ways, in addition to the classic star-shaped configuration with three panels.
The coat rack was born from an idea by Ferdinando Meccani in 1976 while playing with his 9-year-old son and cutting out scrapbook pages like an accordion. from a children's game, he invented a flexible household object with infinite possibilities for shapes, easily placed in any decor and foldable, making it easy to transport.
The prototype was created in the 1970s.
