A dramatic Baroque Revival floor lamp, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1880–1920). The lamp features a tall, tiered baluster shaft richly decorated with scrolling acanthus and foliate motifs, all raised on a sturdy tripod base with outward scrolling feet.
Crafted in cast iron with a darkened patinated finish, the piece embodies the bold, ornamental spirit of the Baroque and Rococo Revival styles. Originally designed as a decorative torchère or stand, it has since been converted for electricity, making it both functional and sculptural.
