A practical cat, hand crafted in Thailand. Made of solid teak. The cat sculpture is actually a box with room for storage inside. This may have been a “Wish Box” to keep your wish on a piece of paper and wait for it to come true. Made in the 1950s. Has carvings all around. Four feet. In excellent condition, with period wear and patina consistent with age and use. No serious damage or repairs.
