Fantastic large early 20th century commercial advertising poster for Moretti Waterproof Products designed by artist Achille Luciano Mauzan (Italian 1883-1952). Lithograph poster titled "Copertoni Impermeabili Ettore Moretti" made in the Art Deco period, circa 1921. The grand poster features a large white elephant covered with a yellow raincoat having a small child riding on its back. The whimsical ad features bold yellow colors over a dramatic black ground. Signed 'MAGA', an Italian studio known for illustrations on the bottom with a stamp in the middle. Provenance: From the collection of Christian Neilsen, owner of Axion Designs (XN Designs) best known for introducing modern Italian furniture to San Francisco, California.
