Imagine this piece in a bedroom of an historic French chateau in the countryside. Petite, yet bold in character from the design to the ornate carvings, holding its own against other beautiful designs throughout time.

This stunning French settee boasts ornate hand carved trim work over the entire frame, continuing into the legs and arms. The carvings that frame the seat and back are a combination of tulip patterns topped with a geometric pattern. Legs begin from the base frame with a block/floral medallion leading into fluted legs finished with ornate brass caps and wheels. The vertical uprights supporting the arms showcase a horizontal fluting as a backer to the arm rest columns, which showcase a French swirled motif along with an acanthus resting on top of the hand rest. This unique piece is then upholstered in a bold and beautiful, rich purple plum velvet fabric, done by a well-known upholstery/furniture company out of Nashville, Tennessee.
