I believe these are from the 1980s. They are beautifully embroidered with thistle flowers and the classic Makenzie Childs black and white checkers. Each triangle is embellished with a brass tipped tassel. The tag says they are made of 100% ramie. They were a special partnership piece between Mackenzie Childs &andVictoria & Richard.

Some of the tassels may need to be steamed in order for them to lay flat. There is a tiny spot on one (see last picture). Its about the same color as the mat so it's very hard to see. less
