One-of-a-kind hand-painted folk art turntable or lazy Susan featuring a panoramic snowy village scene wrapped around the circular surface. Houses, bare winter trees, evergreens and small figures create a continuous landscape designed to be viewed as the piece rotates.
The work is signed “Hummel 95,” which appears to indicate a 1995 date. The rotating base makes the piece functional as a lazy Susan while the detailed winter scene also allows it to be displayed as seasonal folk art, a centerpiece or decorative tabletop object.
