The top features original … Read more Antique Napoleon III French desk made of exotic fine wood with finely chiseled gilt bronze appliqué. The top features original chiseled leather upholstery of the period surrounded by gilt bronze edging. The front is punctuated by three drawers embellished with gilded bronze leaf-patterned vents and handles. The four cantons are adorned with large half-length figures of women typical of their period. The laterals are contoured like the front with bronze leaf motif profiles with a mask in the center. The opposite face turns out to be mirrored to the main one. The interior turns out to be made of oak wood. Condition: Very good condition. Provenance: 19th-century France. Measurements: 180x90 H80cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity. See less
