A charming vintage Lettres box /mailbox direct from France. The mailbox is made of dark brown painted metal complete with a hand-painted trompe-l'oeil flying bird carrying a letter.
The mailbox has a sloped designed top, mail slot opening, and a recessed area for a name plate. The front bottom features 5 small ring openings allowing the recipient to view delivered mail. The mailbox comes complete with the original locking key. It is designed for wall mounting, the back has holes designed for secure attachment. Wall mounting screws are not included. This lovely Lettres box may also be used inside as a decorative wall or tabletop accessory.
