A counter in a grocery store, a tavern, or a hardware store, we don't know the origin of this splendid piece of craft furniture. But its deep and authentic patina thrills and inspires us. Made of solid wood, the antique paint and luster are intense and unique. A large counter from the 1940s, we love its lines, both rustic and elegant. On the front, the panels create a colorful geometric pattern. On the back, we discover a multitude of drawers, cabinets, and niches of various sizes, with original metal handles. As for the vast top, it's spacious and allows us to imagine this large piece of furniture as a workshop bench, a counter in a tavern, the worktop of an authentic kitchen, or a choice piece of furniture in a carefully decorated shop.
The counter is made of solid wood with a sumptuous patina. It is antique, dating from the early 1940s. It has been used intensively and displays a deep and authentic patina. One side features drawers, cabinets, and niches of various sizes. The shell handles are original. The other side is paneled and decorated with molded wooden strips. The white and blue geometric patterns are featured. The paint is water-based and antique, and the sheen is superb. The top is worn over the years; it is made of MDF wood and should be protected or covered. Some stains, losses, and signs of use are present, reinforcing the unique character of this piece of furniture. Originally a piece of furniture attached to the wall, one of the sides is unfinished; it has been carefully cut. The central drawer is a cash drawer with keys, but the security system is no longer functional. The key to the cabinet is original.
196.5 cm wide, 80.5 cm deep, and 103 cm high. The cash drawer is 7 cm high, and the drawer is 12 cm high. The central niche is 88 cm wide, 71 cm deep, and 46 cm high. The cabinet is 40 cm wide.
