The top features a stunning patchwork of highly figured walnut burl, meticulously book-matched to create a rich visual rhythm. Its deep, glossy finish accentuates the natural swirls and movement of the wood, allowing light to play across the surface with sculptural intensity. Two original leaves, beautifully preserved in their own protective bag, expand the table with seamless continuity, maintaining the dramatic pattern and sleek profile. The base, a substantial pedestal with a brushed metal finish, provides both stability and an elegant counterpoint to the organic walnut. This version is more rare, as most examples of this table feature a mirrored chrome base. Its tone subtly shifts as light moves across it, offering a dynamic contrast to the warmth of the wood.
