This technique of white with some gold reflects was very innovative and a huge success , indeed adding some gold in the glass gives a gold irredecent effect to the glass that is unique to each piece . Many important artist did the same like Lalique , Verlys ,Muller and many others . Sabino produce a numerous of animals and figurine shapes that people collected , here we have an unusual fish , it is signed on the base Sabino France . This is an original piece not a reedition , at the death of Sabino , the loss where sold and some reedition were made but what they can reproduce is the coloring , original one have a finish that is not shiny but flat , the new once can be early spotted as they shine a lot , like glossy and have a tendency to be more translucent like clear glass , stay away from those pieces especially if they are priced like an original one See less
