The set consists of eight … Read more Amazing grand set of ten caned rattan dining armchairs designed by Barbara Barry for Baker/McGuire. The set consists of eight side caned armchairs model #MCM 261 and two tall host caned armchairs model #MCM 262 measuring 24 wide by 25 deep and 39.5 inches tall. The chairs feature a double wall construction of mesh caning and a gracefully curved rattan frame. The chairs have Barry's distinctive oval cut-out on the backs. Very good, well-preserved condition with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The dark tobacco finish is accented by an ecru toned fabric. There is also a matching extension dining table and sideboard/credenza from the same estate. The chairs have maker's plaques on bottoms and some chairs still retain their original manufacturers tags. Rare set from the original owner in exceptional condition as seen in photos.
