We have for your consideration a very gorgeous and amazing piece of wall art by artist sister Monica Julie. Signed in pencil and dated 1958 and titled ‘’ crucifixion’’ number edition 27. Art is framed / incased in acrylic no cracks to the acrylic. This piece of vintage art is hard to find and is in great vintage used condition with light wear if any. Art shows very little wear of any. This piece of vintage art will compliment your vintage mid century modern collection.
About the artist:
Sister Monica Julie was an American nun, printmaker, and art teacher at Immaculate Heart College in Los Angeles, active in the mid-20th century. Her art includes screenprints and other modernist prints, with works like her "Crucifixion" from 1958 held in museum collections, such as the Portland Art Museum
