Rust borders, embellished with struts and jagged lines, defines a tri-fold centerpiece. A roughly hexagonal shape at the center of this antique rug, is, itself, decorated with four gray and brown ornaments, is flanked by two four-sided diamonds. Feathered edging encloses figures matching the ornaments in the center, the stylized geometry suggesting blossoms with rounded petals. A red field, studded with more floral symbols, backs the centerpiece, enclosed by a trio of borders rendered in red, tan and brown. Squared leaves and darts in harvest tones scroll around the beautiful and tribal antique Persian Malayer rug. 36753 See less
