We are selling this intriguing portrait of a Gentleman. This portrait is done with pyrography and features a well dressed Gentleman, who almost has the appearances of a well off Native American. The portrait is signed RH and inscribed on the back “This Sketch was burnt with a Poker, Boston 1856 B H Sculpt.” B H is for Robert Ball Hughes famed 19th century pyrographer and British-American Sculptor.
Condition: Good antique condition.
