An acrylic on board painting by the American artist Vern Rader (1924-2017). This abstract work features a central pink shape surrounded by purple, blue, and white brushwork. Signed to the verso, the painting is displayed in a black wooden frame.
Vern Rader was born in North Carolina and served in the army during World War II later moving to Cincinnati to study art where he learned from industrial designed Russel Wright. After school he work for Proctor & Gamble as manager of art and packaging.
