The cylindrical tube shape suggests that this vintage box was most likely designed to function as a cigarette case. Lightweight and easy to open, this mid-20th-century modern box can hold more than 20 cigarettes on your coffee table or desk, concealing them in a gilded and elegant "dress"; but above all, it makes those pesky cigarette packs disappear.
