A dramatic pair of neoclassical revival figural table lamps, dating from the early-to-mid 20th century (circa 1920–1940). Each lamp features a finely cast winged female figure, symbolizing Victory or Nike, holding a torch aloft that has been fitted for electricity.
The figures are finished in a dark bronze-style patina and mounted on richly detailed gilt-metal bases with classical urn and acanthus motifs, all raised on square, metal plinths. The combination of dark patination with bright gilded accents creates an elegant contrast, typical of the French Empire style and its Hollywood Regency revivals.
This matched pair makes a strong design statement, ideal for formal interiors, neoclassical settings, or eclectic decorative schemes.
