This hand-carved stone sculpture is made from Orthoceras fossil limestone (often called fossil marble). Distinct, elongated white fossils are clearly visible in the polished sections. Likely produced in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, where this Devonian-age material (approx. 350–400 million years old) is quarried and carved. Alternating polished and natural surfaces create a dynamic, modern abstract form.
