Elegant … Read more A refined late 19th-century antique miniature portrait depicting a beautifully dressed Victorian woman, signed by artist A. Corsi Lalli. Elegant oval matting and a gold frame create a timeless classical presentation ideal for gallery walls or intimate vignette displays.

It’s double framed with the inner, oval frame being a period gold - likely original. Often these were made of real gold or brass. I’m unable to tell through the glass what this one is made of. It’s mounted and matted on dark blue velvet. It was most likely a brighter, royal blue at one time. The back is silk. It has both an easel-back and wire for hanging.

It’s a wonderful grandmillennial decor piece, perfect for a romantic gallery wall.
