The abstract … Read more Stunning hand painted floor lamp from the 1960s by Danish artist Rigmor Nielsen at Søholm ceramics workshop, Bornholm. The abstract pattern in shades of blue and yellow on this lamp is simply amazing and is only found on this unique example. Each of these rare conical Søholm lamps were made by hand and are unique in their decorations. The painted base holds a brass stem with an elegant handmade flax linen shade at the top. The shade was made especially for this lamp and is a perfect match. Signed R.N. by the artist at the base. Great condition. Lamp measures: Height including shade: 160 cm. / 63 inch. Height without shade but with shade holder: 156 cm. / 63 inch. Height ceramic part only 70 cm / 27,5 inch. Diameter ceramic part at the bottom 22 cm. / 8,7 inch. Shade measures: Height: 29 cm / 12,2 inch. Top diameter: 33 cm / 13,8 inch. Bottom diameter: 38 cm / 15,7 inch. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
