Two large doors in the front are featuring a splendid period scenes with figures, children playing by the river, flying kites, trees in the background, etc. The doors are decorated and secured with an antique style Chinese / Japanese "pin" lock as key. Interior is not finished, has two movable shelves higher up, and a large space below them. This was made as a wardrobe closet, blanket chest, or Armoire, but due to it's "showtime" looks, contemporary use is mostly as a liquor bar. Good used condition, showing age / use wear, scattered splits and flaking as per type (see photos). Size is great to fit anywhere at 69" tall, 40.75" wide and 22" deep from the wall to the front. Will mesh with any setting, Asian, traditional or mid-century modern, and be a topic of many conversations for years to come ! See less
