Original: C.1990's, Glass Artists, Sculptor, Dale Chihuly's ongoing series of, "Ikebana<' series, saw a proliferation of numerous, iterations and never-ending … Read more Original: C.1990's, Glass Artists, Sculptor, Dale Chihuly's ongoing series of, "Ikebana<' series, saw a proliferation of numerous, iterations and never-ending colorations, sizes , shapes and amount of piece, s inclusive within one monumental sculptural piece, that encapsulated the within this piece, as this one is, one of a few, but distinctive, for it's coloration, vessel size, along with the eccentric, pieces or appendages/armatures, which are separate, but inclusive whithin one large, sculptural hand-blown piece. A myriad of Aubergine or red or wine colorations, with gold leaf inclusions, sage greens and gold throughout the piece. Usually one of the pieces within the entirety of the piece will have his initials, and year of production. The owners befriended and became one of his really good friends, as many collectors, do during the process before, during and thereafter with many artists, especially as the collective experienc(s), ALSO is part of the collecting overview, as is herein. This hand blown glass Vessel and along with the organic botanical floral appendages and/or components, are art of the wildly popular and iconic "Ikebana," Series, sometimes synonymous to the Famous Roman site specific pieces which floated along the Venice Canal, which also spawned a Documentary CD to go along with a Worldwide, Traveling Exhibition, thought America and Europe. This piece has a large standing vessel in a sage Greenland gold leaf inclusions of a hand-blown art glass piece. One can see whereupon this piece was positioned within the residence, on Palm Beach island, Florida, amongst the Foyer Entry along with many blue chip Art pieces, as the last 2 images showcases. Art Handlers have packed this piece as they did all the other Blue Chip Artworks, by these Owners, who also own 3 other Chihuly assemblage pieces, along with a large Chihuly Chandelier.

We gave the OVERALL Height, as the handlers were also not willing to lift the vessel to turn upside down and see where the signature is located at, BUT the owners have the paperwork for it/Provenance., etc.
