This is a Great Looking Antique "Hill Climber" Railroad Locomotive and Coal Tender Toy Train. Circa Very Early 20th Century. This is a Very Large Size - Scale Toy. It is self propelled as a result of a Heavy Cast Iron Flywheel Mechanism. The Body is made out of Pressed Tin - Steel an. The “hill climber” mechanism is used as a means of self propulsion. You can simply Push Forward on the floor and Lift a few times until the Fly Wheel is Spinning Fast - Then when you set it down The Spinning Fly Wheel Propels The Train Forward. The Hill Climber Function Works. Note that It is Missing a Few Pieces. It still retains its Original Painted Features although Age and Play Weathered Giving it a Great Old Authentic Look - Displays Very Nicely.
It Measures 7 inches Tall x 26 inches Long x 5 inches Wide.
