The "Cotacachi" armchair, designed by Angel Pazmino for Muebles de Estilo in the 1960s, is a true icon of mid-century South American design. The carved, interlocking laurel wood frame supports a thick, hand-crafted leather upholstery that reflects Ecuadorian craftsmanship. The result is both artisanal and sophisticated, combining comfort, strength, and ethnographic elegance—a timeless piece sought after by lovers of classic South American design. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
