Pair of original, circa 1940’s Liberty’s London Omersa brown leather Hippos representing a mother and calf in the small and … Read more Pair of original, circa 1940’s Liberty’s London Omersa brown leather Hippos representing a mother and calf in the small and medium sizes These were originally designed as footstools in the medium to extra large sizes, but now a days they are used for pure decoration, this pair has the mother as the small footstool size and calf as the display size We have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, the condition is very good for the age, the leather has a wonderful patina throughout, this pair just screams period patina and charm Dimensions Height:- 27cm & 19cm Width:- 48cm & 34cm Depth:- 22cm & 14cm This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
