Authentic vintage wooden “No Parking Any Time” sign from Providence, Rhode Island. Hand-painted in bold red block letters on a white ground, the sign features double directional arrows and the original “Providence Police” marking along the bottom. A relic of coastal Americana.
On solid wood rather than the usual metal or enamel, this sign has a rare and distinctive presence. Decades of warm summers and frigid winters have given it a patina full of New England character—faded paint, surface cracking, and nail holes—all of which enhance its shabby chic charm.
