This refined Japanese vase originates from the renowned Seyei workshop and bears the kiln seal.
Dimensions: height 31 cm, diameter 12 cm. In excellent condition.
The piece reflects a powerful modern aesthetic of the Shōwa period, with deep black-brown and reddish-brown tones flowing vertically across the ribbed surface. The texture and glaze enhance the rhythm and tactile quality of the work, making it both a functional ikebana vase and a standalone work of art.
The vase comes with its original tomobako (wooden storage box), inscribed with calligraphy and the Seyei label. This piece has an attribution mark,
